| Matthew 28:19, 20 is the Great Commission not the "Great Suggestion." The Celebration Center is a firm believer in overseas missions. Rather than supporting many missionaries with a small amount, we have focused our missions effort on specific projects in selected countries.
KENYA
The Celebration Center has been planting churches in Kenya since 1989. Dr. Sammi Gatari, Senior Pastor of the Gospel Celebration Centers in Nairobi, has been a wonderful addition to the vision God has given us for this country. Much time, effort and money has been dedicated toward the building of a lasting ministry in Kenya. In our desire to leave something tangible to continue ministry long after our missions teams return home, our labor and finances have produced a harvest of new churches. We thank God for the opportunity to minister to the great country of Kenya!
GUATEMALA
Guatemala has become a recent focus of The Celebration Center missions outreach. We have been involved in church building projects in the city of Coban as well as assisting the missionaries working there with their God-given vision. We have partnered with Correll Ministries to minister to the people of Guatemala making numerous missions trips to teach and work in local churches, schools and public crusades. We are grateful for all God has done through our church to bless the people of Guatemala!
